Prerequisite(s): ACCT 2301 and ACCT 2302 This course provides students with a practical and theoretical understanding of accounting principles as applied to the agricultural sector. Topics include farm business record keeping, asset valuation (land, livestock, crops, equipment), cost accounting for agricultural production, tax implications, budgeting, and financial statement preparation tailored to agricultural enterprises. Students will learn to analyze financial performance and make informed business decisions for sustainable farm management.
